At Salem University, there are so many wonderful things happening on a university campus and the residential area is no exception.  It is a place where the memorable experiences are happening outside of the classroom.

The residence halls are a place where students live and learn and make lasting friendships.  The housing community encourages students to step outside their comfort zone and get to know other students as well as join student groups and attend the social and cultural programs scheduled by the resident assistant and student life staff.  You’ll have access to laundry facilities, outside recreation areas, study and game lounges.

Rooms are double occupancy, and students are matched with a roommate by the Office of Housing & Residence Life. Our Residence Life staff includes full time, live-in professionals (Resident Directors) and student staff (Resident Assistants) who work hard to make the residence hall a successful community environment.

On-campus housing is available to all students without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ability/disability, religion, nationality or ethnic origin.

Only approved sports teams, approved by the Director of Housing and Residence Life are permitted to be in Housing after the official academic year.  If you have not been approved and placed on the official list, if you have not been approved and cleared on the official list your key will not allow you to enter the halls! No Visitation during Campus Breaks/School Closings.
